Following Buckinghamshire Council’s resolution to grant planning permission at the West Area Planning Committee meeting in July 2024, the S106 Legal Agreement was finalised and planning permission and listed building consent were issued in October 2024.

Attached to the planning permission and listed building consent were a number of conditions, some of which require details to be submitted for approval before development commences on site. These include a Construction Environmental Management Plan and Landscape Ecology Management Plan.
The Council issued decision notices in March 2025 confirming the pre-start elements of the conditions had been met. As a result, work can now begin on site.

The first phase of work will be site set-up followed by dismantling and recycling of the 1960s extension to the main house and a number of the outbuildings, in accordance with the planning permission. Where there might be an impact locally, the team at Rayners will communicate this in advance wherever possible.
In addition to this, landscaping plans will be developed in order to identify areas to start planting new trees this year to ensure they are established as part of the ecology scheme.

Rayners Penn is finalising the detailed programme of works and will continually update this page with the latest information.
